Few remember that Citroen had become the fourth largest car maker in the world and respected for the exceptional design and advanced technology.
DS is the work of the Italian Flaminio Bertoni stylists and design engineers André Lefebvre.
But Citroen has readdressed priorities. Design importantly, with the erotic bodywork, hydraulic suspension, brakes, clutch and steering, and space-age interior, the technology has been tentatively re-emerged and, as a Jaguar design boss Ian Callum said, “Thank God it strange that reappeared on the dashboard Citroën. “
Indeed, the presence of DS3 successfully dispelled the old image of a Citroën. Still fresh in the minds of such old Citroën BX or CX Pallas which has coupé-like silhouette. Well, DS3 looks ‘normal’ Compact Hatchback like usual.

The rear seats are less accommodating. Although there is sufficient head room, six-footer will need a front seat passenger to the expense of passenger leg room and the fifth is almost stretches that far. Boot is large enough to carry the luggage of a fashionista, and then some.
We know this engine from the Peugeot brothers and MINI, and it’s a corker. There is so much torque from low revs making it difficult to believe that the move only 1,600 cc. Not only the strong (and very smooth), this unit is also quite economical, with 40mpg-plus reached in the long run, especially with smooth transmission shifting, six-speed.
Prices start £ 11.700 for the 95bhp 1.4-liter petrol model, rising to £ 13,700 for the diesel 1.6-liter HDi 90bhp and peaked £ 15,900 for the 1.6-liter turbodiesel 110bhp and the car, DSport 1.6-liter turbo gasoline, which uses a “Prince” engine developed in conjunction with BMW.
