Project Kahn's Widebody Porsche Panamera Tune

For its next tune, British styling house Project Kahn has selected the Porsche Panamera, which receives a thorough makeover inside and out.
The first thing you'll notice about Project Kahn's Panamera is the wide bodykit that includes the front bumper pieces encompassing vertical LED strips, the beefed up front and rear fenders with matching side skirts and the rear bumper parts with an integrated rear air dam.
The exterior package also adds a roof spoiler, a rear wing, tinted windows, billet aluminum side vents, available tinted tail lamps, red brake calipers, new tail pipes and 22-inch Kahn RS600 wheels finished in whatever color the buyer chooses.
Performance upgrades are limited to a sportier exhaust system and a suspension module to drop the ride height.
As usual, Kahn says it can also upgrade the interior only this time, the British company actually shared some pictures of the Panamera's cabin that gets a bespoke leather treatment with a blend of claret quilted and perforated leather.
The tuner said that the blue colored Panamera (with the 4 AK license plate) pictured next to the black model is up for sale at £86,875 (US$135,300 / €104,500).

Tokyo Auto Salon - So You Never Want to Leave Your Toyota Prius, do You?

If you are asking us whether someone has been creative with a ton of snow, the answer is no. If you are viewing this bizarre build from the side and wondering if this is some sort of humorous phallic statement, the answer once again is -you guessed it- no.

So what in the blazes is it, we hear you ask? Well, it's a Toyota Prius camper van conversion and it was unwrapped (or so to speak) at this weekend's 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon with NAPAC. And no, we are not pulling your leg – it does exist and it's available for order.

It's the wacky creation of Campinn, which specializes in these sort of builds. The transformation from going green to living in green involves the addition of a huge lump on top of the Prius, which is made entirely of Fibre-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and increases the hybrid's length to 4,980mm (196-in.) and height to 2,050mm (81.1-in.).

Inside, there's what the company describes as a living area that can be optionally fitted with retractable coffee table and/or a side sofa while doubling as a bed, and if someone happens to visit, there's also as second bed on the…second floor. Did we mention that it also gets a back door?

AC Schnitzer MINI Cooper Coupe - A really sporting example recently celebrated its premiere: the standard model of the MINI Cooper Coupé. But the MINI tuning experts at AC Schnitzer are working "Beyond the standard", as demonstrated by some impressive tuning highlights for the agile two-seater.

Performance upgrades for the MINI Cooper SD Coupé and S Coupé are currently in development and planning respectively. Balanced handling on the exit from tight corners is already guaranteed by the AC Schnitzer limited slip differential for the MINI Cooper S Coupé with locking up to 75%.

The perfect driving experience is enhanced by the acoustic qualities of the AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer of stainless steel with chromed Racing tailpipe trim for the MINI Cooper S and the John Cooper Works Coupé. The AC Schnitzer sports exhaust system optimally balances the complete exhaust system to the demands of higher power and tuned engines.

The promises made by a sporting engine are backed up by the AC Schnitzer high performance brake system. The 4-piston fixed caliper brakes (left/right) with slotted discs (left/right), the set of brake pads, caliper holder and steel flexible brake lines, hold the thoroughbred two-seater in check.

Like every athlete, the MINI Cooper Coupé needs high performance "movement gear". In the case of the MINI Cooper Coupé by AC Schnitzer, this includes a height-adjustable racing suspension or the AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit, an aluminium strut brace and special antiroll bar for the rear axle which further reinforce the Go-kart-like driving sensation so characteristic of the MINI.

Its extravagant body style identifies the MINI Cooper Coupé as an absolute athlete. But to demonstrate that AC Schnitzer know-how has also been applied to your MINI, you can opt for the AC Schnitzer decor set available in various designs, together with the rear "Technology & Design" sticker.

In the interior too, the MINI Cooper Coupé by AC Schnitzer is a whole length ahead of the standard model. The standard premium comfort can be enhanced by the AC Schnitzer gear knob with digital gear display, aluminium pedal set, foot rests, "Black Line" handbrake handle and velours foot mats.

A sporting stance on the road is provided by the AC Schnitzer Mi2 BiColor wheels in 18 inch or the Mi 1 silver wheels in 17 inch with corresponding tyres.

In this guise, the MINI Cooper Coupé is guaranteed a place on the top step of the podium. Last but not least, competitors will be most impressed by the chromed AC Schnitzer exhaust trim. Because successful race cars are usually only viewed from one perspective: behind.

Fox Marketing Working on 400hp Nissan Juke Special - Tuning firms are sure to have been inspired by Nissan UK's daring move to wedge the GT-R's twin turbo V6 and AWD system into the conceptual Juke-R, and having built project cars for over a decade, Fox Marketing looks to be the first to create a high-powered variant of the small crossover."When we first saw the Nissan Juke-R that Nissan UK built, we were blown away," said the tuning firm. "But, to build a vehicle like the Juke-R you are talking a seven figure build budget."

As part of the company's 12th year anniversary they are working on a new tune for the Nissan Juke, which will be introduced in the coming months.The tuner will modify the Juke's standard powertrain by fitting a custom intercooled turbo setup to motivate the 1.6-liter engine to around 400hp. A new brake system with 14-inch 6-piston calipers, 20-inch alloys, a more aggressive aero package, performance springs, and interior improvements including Yonaka Ronin racing seats, will also be added.BASF will contribute Foxy Orange paint once the body modifications are complete.
